This superb former family cottage is located in the Burren in County Clare, central to the near villages of Ennistymon, Kilfenora, Liscdoonvarna and Doolin. This cottage has been immaculately presented throughout to provide the perfect holiday accommodation for families or groups of friends and is sure to feel like a home from home the moment you walk through the door.
The charming cottage has been brought up to date whilst retaining the key original features. The sitting room has a traditional open fire place surrounded by comfortable sofas on the original flag stone floor. The open plan kitchen/diner has a modern feel and is fully equipped allowing you to sit down in comfort for your meals . A door opens to the patio/garden, ideal to sit outside on the warmer days. There are four double bedrooms (2 with en-suite shower, hand basin and WC) and a separate bathroom with bath, hand basin and WC. A cot is also provided.
There's plenty to do locally, from walking or cycling on the quiet country roads to surfing and swimming in Lahinch, which also offers kite and wind surfing. Kilfenora with the Burren Visitor Centre is just 5 kms away, the famous Cliffs of Moher and the village of Doolin with its colorful pubs are not much further to drive to. Golfers at this cottage will enjoy the two golf courses in Lahinch, home to the South of Ireland Championship and often described as the 'St Andrews' of Ireland.
This is a absolutely fantastic cottage in a quiet location offering stunning scenery - you can even see the sea in the distance! - but is easy to access and perfect as the center for your activities in the Burren!
